Welcome to our first fully digital edition of SPARK Stories! Because of the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, our theaters have been dark since March 2020. I can’t tell you who much we miss YOU – our fans and supporters – and the joy of being together in the theater for a live performance. During this difficult time, we have worked hard to stay engaged with our audiences and to find creative ways to live our mission. This edition of SPARK Stories talks about how we have joined forces with some local artists to “spark” greater understanding and dialogue in our community around the critical issue of racial justice. We also are working hard with our colleagues in the live entertainment industry, public health and government officials and creative minds from around the globe to find solutions that will allow us to reopen as soon as we can do so safely. Already, we’ve invested in air handling and disinfection technology that will enhance your safety. We’ll share much more detail on these and other safety protocols as we get closer to reopening.
